Michael Hyam

Michael’s work embraces a traditional approach of portraiture and landscape with a delicate mannerist feel. His technique employs oil, gold leaf, collage and watercolour to develop atmospheric compositions.

Michael has exhibited widely in the UK and abroad and his work is held in many private and public collections, including Johnny Depp and Baron Patten of Barnes. He has also had high profile commissions including portraits of Sir Frank Rogers, Peter Ridell (of The Times) and Sir Phillip Naylor-Leyland.
